The Floyd 2

 Here we have another concatenation of Pink Floyd's 1969 album cover for "Ummagumma", once again featuring the lovely Natsuko as David Gilmour, with her good friends Akiko (in yellow) and Lindsay (in black) to her right......in the upper left window portion we have Patrick Mahomes' uncle Buford Mahomes, seen here with his beloved poodle Fluffy in his backpack. He randomly wandered by on his travels through Japan and we convinced him to be in the picture! At the bottom left we have a calendar of fantastical mountain ranges from around the world.... I believe the page that's showing is a picture of the Fjords of Damocles, somewhere not too far outside of Helsinki.......the top right shows a poster of a never released film noir about the life of Casper the Ghost, and below that a video screen showing an imaginary volcano that spills golden lava. And finally, at the top center, a portrait (done by Lindsay) of the mysterious Demon of Rhythm, one of the 12 Peaceful Demons of Jakarta, devoted to promoting a life lived in harmony with the rhythms of the universe.......

Cosmic Polaroids

 Hi friends!..... if you remember from the post "Notes From the Bedroom Wall 1", at the bottom of that picture was a cosmic polaroid printer. And so here we begin to share some of the crazy pictures that print out at random times from bizarre places across the galaxy......... the first set shows us the outside and the front door of the infamous and top secret nightclub "Club 8" in Hong Kong! It was an amazing club in the 80s that from the outside looked like a normal apartment building, but if you went in and went to the door of unit 8 (see the fluorescent pink 8) and entered the code correctly you could enter into the wonderful nightlife atmosphere of a very exclusive and opulent club. These two photos are presided over by the 10th Doctor (Who) disguised as a punk rock grandmother for some reason.

Our fantastic second set of photos is two images of the Incan Moon God Tchacoxchitli, a wise and powerful deity.......these photos are being carefully watched over by a pair of Aztec warriors, as well as a Mayan interpretation of two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; Donatello and Michelangelo.........I have these posted on my fridge hahaha!

The Changing Faces of the Cosmic Lady on my Refrigerator

 This is the side of my refrigerator....it used to be me, but now it is the many changing faces of the mysterious and inscrutable Cosmic Lady, surrounded by her familiars and protective spells.....could be The Lady Prism, but difficult to tell because I haven't seen her in ages...........of special note is the woman at the top in the second picture. That's Margaret Windows, the most famous Oracle in all the galaxy!

Optigan Season 2

 Here we have an image of the ultra rare Harry Potter Optigan, as played by Hermione Granger in the never-released music video for the song "Hogwarts Eternal" written by Dumbledore in the 1960s...... That's a mandrake plant on the left there, and I'm not sure who put that sticker to the left of the keyboard, nor do I know what it means hahaha! It used to be on display at the Potter Museum in Godric's Hollow, but was hidden away from the public about ten years ago after some Slytherin kids tried to deface it with graffiti tags......

Notes From the Bedroom Walls 2

 Here we have another photo of the shifting landscape of my bedroom walls........as you can see in the mirror, this was from when Koko was staying with me during her big trip to America back in 2016.... we had a wonderful time while she was in town. To the left of the mirror is the infamous Timely Videographer, which takes video and seamlessly meshes it with a randomly generated time period from human history...... I have a hilarious video somewhere of us playing desk chair basketball in 17th century Portugal.......

On the shelf below that we have a large photograph of Central Yharnam before the Night of the Hunt, and in the center we have a little gnomish idol from my journeys, as well as my trophy for desk chair basketball excellence. Next to that, on the right, we have a Zodiac Attenuator, which by the looks of it here is picking up lots of Root Chakra and Taurus energy.

All the way at the bottom we have the habitat of Celery, my giant praying mantis, and an old timey advertisement for garden parties!

Shrine of the Eternal Wizard 2

Here we have another look at the changing tide that is the Shrine of the Eternal Wizard......our main character here is James the Prophet (or Jimmy the Pro as we called him in wizard school (not Hogwarts (ok that's enough parenthesis))) holding up the Blue Orb of Happiness. To his left is a very cool bust of the Groot character from the MCU, and on the right is an old fashioned medicinal 'root beer' tonic which contains wormwood and peyote and is known to cause hallucinatory experiences of the highest magnitude!

The center of the bottom shelf has a Cosmic Polaroid that all my Bloodborne/From Software fans may appreciate.....its a picture of The Orphan of KOS (some say Kosm) during happier and more carefree times, well before the hunt and the blood moon. On the left there is a miniature book containing all of Jimmy the Pro's best known prophecies, some with pictures, and behind it a Japanese tea kettle advertisement...........and on the right is a matcha dispenser and a post card from that beach in the movie 'North Shore'........

Museum 2

 

Here we have an image from the Museum of Gothic Splendor in the hinterlands of Nova Scotia..... a bonafide treasure trove of exotic artifacts are gathered there, including that painting in the center titled 'The Castles of Saint Michael' which was painted by an artist known simply as 'Piedmont' in 1746. The small clock, and the bizarre contraption next to it where once owned by Genghis Khan, who was secretly way into goth stuff, as it happens......the contraption we speak of is none other than the truly exquisite Voice of the Heavens machine from ancient China.......it was the first ever voice synthesizer, and can accurately recreate human speech in a ghostly, inhuman kind of way. It was powered by a bellows and a hand crank (not pictured). 

An altar, another iteration of the Rose Lantern, many and various skulls, including a critical-paranoiac one with roses for eyes.......some portraits at the bottom of famous goth DJs, and Everyones Favorite Redhead........ and, of course, Old Building no. 0.40, and two cosmic polaroids, one of some farmland, and the other one is the Creature from the Black Lagoon........

Binhday Dub 2

 

Here's another of my super special McDonald's Birthday Club memberships...... this version of McD's is populated by organic breakdance robots made entirely out of cardboard and operated by an extremely complex system of pulleys and ropes. You have to at least try to do a breakdance move (they have instructive classes in the kids play area) in order to place your order for food, but they are lenient and forgiving of your technique, as long as you put your heart into it and try your best. They also give out prizes for dancing, examples being those cool dolls and toys and jars filled with wondrous surprises that you see at the bottom of my membership card.......also, the burgers at this one are amazing!!!!!

Tarot and Astrology (or T and A)

 So here we share Tarot and Astrology variations from beyond the veil. Apologies to sensitive viewers about all the T (hahaha) but I'm only the messenger.......

Here we have a version of The Magician from the Tho Cirth Tarot deck.....in the main image she is focused on casting The Rose Portal, which as we all know is very difficult to produce, and it is known to create an eternal temporal understanding within the mind of anyone in close proximity with it. The large glass window to her right is a depiction of her triumphant last stand with her twin sister against the mighty Eagle of Infinity, which takes place both before and after this moment. Time is confusing, even if you're only moving in one direction.

To her left is three triptychs, or a triple triptych, or a trippy triptych, depicting an exceedingly rare storyboard for a never made Disney movie about Mickey Mouse and his journey down a wishing well to the center of the earth. Mickey dies at the end, and if you look close at the bottom middle image of the nine, you can see his tombstone. So, it was a controversial idea that never saw the light of day.

Just below the triple triptych is a picture of Ghoulisha, darling main character from the popular anime series "Ghoul School", and down at the bottom is a rather buxom young lass, who believe it or not is a well established Peace Officer in an alternate reality. Very different from our police officers in this dimension, but I assure you she is very effective at keeping the peace!

Astral Record Player 2

 The Astral Record Player returns! With Love from the Drue......which is an underground Kosmische/Vaporwave band that does covers of Dru Hill songs from the 90s.....that sign is actually a hard plastic plaque that I put on the wall next to the Owlery. The record here is (obviously) from The Drue, and features a 10 minute rendition of the classic Dru Hill song "In My Bed", made with a koto, mellotron, melodica, and flugelhorn....it even has Sisqo on it briefly at the end, rambling about taxes and the tooth fairy. The red heart next to the plaque is a 50th anniversary chip from Kings Dominion's little known Valentines Day couples only day.....a lot of fun riding all the rides there with your significant other.... and speaking of SOs, that photo is my ex Georgina, the French Canadian cigarette girl. We took that picture at a really wild party after she had rigged that koosh ball on her head to look like a crown, and had proclaimed herself the Empress of Love........ also the inside of the lid of this record player has mirrored panels for some reason.....cheers!

Ancient Creative Entities HQ

 Hi there! I took this picture last time I was at Ancient Creative Entities Headquarters, that being the record label/creative conglomerate that I'm assigned to. The Headquarters is in a wonderful old office building near Stonehenge, MD, which was built in 1971....... A.C.E. took over the building in the mid 90s, after alternative disco hit "Children of the Corn, Step Aside" hit the charts and brought them fame and recognition.

This is a picture of a Power Wall/Inspiration Battery, of which there are many in the building. This one is in the offices area, near the publicist cubicles. This is the Fairy and Crystals Inspiration Battery, and you can feel power coming off of it in waves........ just standing near it for a while feels like I added years to my imagination..........

At the top left we see part of an electronic profile on Lilac Jones, the renowned cave painter. I'm sure you remember her great work at Luray and along Skyline Drive..... to her right is a special laserdisc containing tens of thousands of music videos that feed continuously to a screen on the other side of the wall, because music videos are the best.

Below that we have the Straw Fairy doing her absolute best to inspire, with her butterfly wand and reverse hookah that exhales a soft and  cool mist that moisturizes the skin.....to her right is the main power crystal, surrounded by inscrutable incantations, and next to that a portrait of the Benign Obelisk. Finally at the bottom is a fully interactive tool that helps you learn about the different types of Cosmic Crystals! All and all, a wonder(ful) wall, or as Frank would say, "I love your wall".........

I love custom vans from the 60s and 70s..... my uncle Zane Krafter (we used to call him Insane Zane) used to build some truly amazing ones back in the 70s and 80s. They're all lost in time now, like so many other things, but once upon a time these gorgeous creatures roamed the earth......

He built them in his barn at his farm near Wheeling West Virginia, the other side of the barn being a disco themed miniature golf course, which is what you see in the background of these photos. I especially love the interior (last picture) with the green/purple couch and table!

The Floyd

Once Upon a time my ex and I did a long series of reimaginings of the cover of Pink Floyd's 1969 album, Ummagumma. I've included the original here at the bottom (2nd pic) in case you forgot....that's her in the center, with her dog Cadence, or Cady! Also in this picture are her aunt and uncle (with their backs to us) as well as her best friend Keiko (with the blond hair). We took this picture outside of a cozy little split level tea house in Shinjuku.....the forced perspective required some elemental magic on our part. I don't remember who made the lamp thing but it looks super cool, replete with leaves to complement our Autumn theme. I painted a 703 on the side of that vending machine on the right as a nod to my Virginia roots. Anyways, I have a bunch of these and I'll post them steadily.

 It's Optigan season. Always. This one belongs to The Count, of course, and it looks like his son Baby Count (not to be confused with Ice T's rock band "Body Count") left his favorite toy dinosaur at the left of the keyboard. Optigans are cool. If you don't know, you should probably ask someone.......

Notes From the Bedroom Walls

Welcome to our first glimpse into the constantly drifting landscape of my bedroom walls! I'm not sure who is looking back at us in the mirror there, but whoever they are, they have nice hair....... perhaps it was a lovely lady who was passing thorough? Or perhaps its me on a very strange day.....next to the mirror is my various and sundry potions and unguents.....including my isometric safety cream. Left of the mirror by the flowers is an Xray type drawing of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (Donatello, I believe?), done by Alex Grey's cousin, Helix Grey. 

The shelf below that has a self portrait of my favorite galactic doorway, Euripides Chapel.....I've never been, but it looks amazing! In the center is an Astral Looking Glass, which lets you gaze outward from very very deep in space....... and on the right is my yarn braiding trophy.... a participation trophy, really, as I'm terrible at braiding yarn, but still and all it was a brilliant and magical day.

Way down at the bottom you see a convenience store and a video store movie set from when we were making our miniature Japanese version of "Clerks"

To the left of that is the Cosmic Polaroid printer......more from that later!

Shrine of the Eternal Wizard

 

If you look closely, I offer a singular glimpse of the ever-changing shrine to the Eternal Wizard in all of us...... the central wizard figure was originally given to me by an artisan in Venezuela named Esma Vasquez......at one point it was Merlin and it played a beautiful song. Here we see it has shifted to a depiction of Joanna the Benevolent, whom we see here has summoned her silent golem guardian. The rest of the top shelf contains a miniature version of the fabled Lantern of Roses, as well as a very special decanter for an exceedingly rare spirit made from the tears of peaceful demons......

In the middle on the lower row is a picture of my sister, Spelle Krafter......she is a hypnotic harpist and an all around sorceress of strings....... on the right next to her is a tiny version of the Inspiration and Expression factory where my friend and I worked when we lived in Japan. We're the two little yellow dots in the parking lot hahaha! And of course on the left is your standard electro magnetic wave induction meter.....safety first!

Museum of Cultural Aspects

 Here is one of the exhibits at the Museum of Cultural Aspects in the city of Entropy on the planet of Spidre. Violet posed for the sculpture while we were there on vacation one missing summer....... the spider creatures there are super weird looking but they are very chill and fun to communicate with, even though its mostly with gestures and light flashes. Impossible for me to tell you where Spidre is located, because I'm only really one human along one singular linear timeline. And yet............

 One of my birthday memberships for one of the many strange versions of McDonalds.... there's no food in this version just lots of little jars with different scented foot powders........I prefer the sandalwood/patchouli hybrid, sandchouli.......

The Lady Prism 2

 I took a picture in the dressing room of Lady Prism while we were on one of her Intergalactic tours..... I think we were doing the "Candy and Convenience" shows with the rest of The Cosmic Ladies..... a lot of strange things going on at that time. The line between reality and unreality is blurred, if you look closely.......

 Here is the Enchanting Lady Prism....well, an AI rendering of her, at any rate. Clearly captured during her moss covered skulls phase of the early 1800s.......we were together once.....or perhaps its that we will be together at some point? I can't really remember. Point is, she's not around me currently and I miss her.This is a wonderful picture of her though......her first name was Violet once upon a time......

Astral Record Player (ARP) 1

 There is an astral record player that sometimes appears near me, that plays me songs from dreams, alternate realities, parallel universes, and intense visions.....this one was playing "Backseat of a Studebaker" by Penny Claiborne, who was very popular on the dystopian folk scene of the late 1940s in Cambodia. A beautiful and haunting song about intimate relations in the back of a car...... I would share it with you, but I don't have clearance to do so. But I will share music as soon as I can. I promise.....

The Secret Path Begins

 Hello friends.......here are a few of the infinite versions of me so you can meet me here where the Secret Path begins.....as for what that path is, well, if you have to ask, you'll probably never know. My name is Lens Krafter.....sounds ridiculous, but its true, like so many other ridiculous and true things in this existence. Unrelated to the optics company, and my lawsuits over the name in the late 80s were deemed frivolous hahaha.......anyways....

I was born on Halloween night in 1962, another fact that sounds crazy. It was a Wednesday night. I don't really remember that, but I looked it up at some point and now it is indelible in my mind. Along this secret path we will share memories, dreams, visions and fantastical interludes to break the monotony of the mediocre places we sometimes find ourselves in. There will also be a lot of music shared here as well, from my latest project also entitled "The Secret Path"....... an ongoing wordless musical journal of life and psychedelic sorcery overlaid with cosmic sadness, played by my current studio musicians, The Secret Path 5........
