Dreams

 z I had a dream the other day. It was a group of 9 of us and we had to summon The SunBirds..... we were in a plane of existence that was charcoal grey and the SunBirds were the vibrant yellow/orange of the most powerful sunset. It was a very long and specific sequence of steps to summon them, and I don't remember much but the end of the dream, but eventually we made it to the mouth of an alley on a very grey street where I briefly saw 18 kids (9 v 9) about to engage in a bagpipe battle.......A stone wall came down to block my view, and a toilet emerged. I sat down to take a shit while I listened to the bagpipes play..... a girl walked by and the music stopped and then I muttered "It's time" as the wall opened up and I could feel the presence of The SunBirds in a cavern I had just entered."The eye" some disembodied voice spoke in my head, and I produced an orb like glass version of an Evil Eye and proceeded to climb the charcoal grey catacombs in search of the vibrant and powerful SunBirds........

For the first song, please step into 'The Parlour' of our spacious and wonderful home.......an excellent example of the amalgamation of styles that makes up The Secret Path......a Faith No More-esque bass line, Eighties alt-rock guitar, an organic feeling Nineties trip hop/hip hop beat, and spooky/pretty organ/rhodes piano Ala The Doors! All wrapped up in our Space Rock/Trip Hop sensibilities, and of course topped with our signature blend of psychedelic sorcery and cosmic sadness.......slainte!

Spectral Studios 10

 Here is our Univox Echo Chamber unit at Spectral Studios.......it's from the early 70s, and has a tape cartridge in the back that records the sounds you input and plays them back with parameters that can be varied by the knobs shown here. Like many things here in the studio, it's filled with ghosts and doesn't always function in the way originally intended. We most recently used it in the song 'For Nights of Love and Sadness' from The Secret Path album '7' from July 2024.

 July's album is ready for consumption! We called it '7' as it's the seventh album this year, in the seventh month of the year, and contains seven songs!.....we used the number as opposed to the word because numbers are powerful symbols and magical totems! A collection of seven rad songs, featuring the surprise hit single "The Cosmic Ladies" , which is big in Japan!
