The Secret Path 3

 The March album is complete! It came down to the wire but it is out there now with no turning back...... to me it's a pretty magical Space Rock album that has a lot of guitar, and some really cool songs that stir deep feelings within me personally.....We're really happy with how it came out, and the direction that it is taking us musically......Investigate at your leisure here

She Once Was

A straightforward song with lots of guitar that reminds me of people who were once important connections in our lives, and are now no longer that. With bass, drums, synth, and also a recorder! It took forever, and it's not exactly perfect, but it is the 8th and final song for our March album!.....

Sunlight

 The seventh song for March has arrived!....a glorious ambient song about sunlight and the coming of spring! This is the best version to date of a song that I've had in my head on and off for decades.....still not quite perfect, but a very enjoyable version, featuring tamboura, bagpipes, bass, guitar, synth, and some voices........this photo is the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean on my birthday a few years ago.......please enjoy and feel the coming of Spring as it crawls into the northern hemisphere!

Spectral Studios 2

 Our second stop on the Spectral Studios tour brings us to the Cordovox 0642, also known as the 'White Elephant'!.......it's not the most sought after model, the 0652, which has a Moog Satellite built in, but it's the model right before that and has plenty of fun and interesting switches and sliders to make Beautiful noise with....this one we got our hands on was probably made in 1973-74, and it didn't come with the original legs, so I bought those weird white lucite pillars that the main body of the organ is sitting upon.......also, the big, white, Space age plastic shell is so rad and 70s sci fi looking! These bad boys were made in the 70s, just like some really cool people I know......onward!

The High Priestess

 Continuing with the Tarot Deck we have number 2; THE HIGH PRIESTESS!.......here we see her with her cortege of seven silly dragons.....they are wonderful company, and boon companions to our lovely, lonely, and powerful high priestess. Happy Friday!

The Floyd 5

Here is yet another fantastic transmogrification of the album cover for Pink Floyd's 'Ummagumma'....... here we have Miko, and her sister Munchkin, out front at their famous cafe, 'Munchkin's Pumpkin House'! It's a year round autumn themed bakery and coffee/tea house.......you can see their specialty mochi menu at the bottom left, and a reflection of 'business man number four' on the door at the top right......as well as part of the street in Yokohama, where the cafe is located......and of course, a lovely portrait of the fabled 'Tree of Mourning' from the long forgotten and never published version of 'The Canterbury Tales'. Rock On! 

The Magician

 Here is the next card in our Tarot deck sequence; number 1; THE MAGICIAN! You can see he has the wand pointed upward in his right hand, while his left hand is pointed down, next to a really cool looking tree.....also, his face looks like a blue sun! I like this font better but still not sure if it's the one yet......

The Fool

 Putting together a potential Tarot deck and so we'll begin at the beginning with number 0; THE FOOL. The font is probably a place holder, and I feel like it would need some kind of border if we decided to make this deck real one day........here you see the fool quite clearly at the bottom, in his silly hat, with his silly horse friend. At the top we have The Disapproving Ghoul and his weird shaped unicorn. I'm excited to see how this deck turns out!..........

Unbound Book Club

 Here is the cover of an unbound book from places unknown, titled 'Riler to Save the Obbans' by Hoave Lorests........it's published by Arversnish in another dimension, and is a thoughtful and heartfelt tale of love and loss between two souls, and the immediacy of Cosmic Truth that forced a decision that could potentially tear them apart...... also, the flower in the middle forms a slice of pizza!

The Secret Path 2

 

Every once in a blue moon, our bass player Randy will come up with a bass line for the ages. This is what happened this weekend, and it's been in my head since we started working on it on Saturday....we have published the results as 'The Secret Path', the fourth song on our March album! It's a super groovy track that also has drums, strings, guitar, keys, magic, madness, and a thunderstorm.....we love it so much we have made it our (unofficial) theme song......... Click here to find out for yourself......excelsior!

A Strange Moment in Time

 I watched the sun set for the last time over the shattered remnants of our once stalwart fortress......we were happy there, I believe.....she looked worried in her corner, but there was no need......an inevitable ending is a strange new beginning. The robot next to her will guide her safely in when its time.....I watched her fingers grasp nervously at the green fabric of her skirt, but deep in my eyes you can see the calm of the beyond.... I was halfway there already. The pink and blue plastic world was collapsing above our heads, and this moment in time is seen from the back of the kaleidoscopic gypsy wagon in my mind, and preserved for the few that remain to follow The Secret Path laid down by these simple sentences.....fare thee well unto the infinite, my fine friends......there are mysteries all around us.

Cosmic Polaroids 4

 Hi! Here are three polaroid pictures of three extremely rare, beautiful, mysterious, and difficult to locate cosmic beings!...... the first one is a man known as The Shine Merchant, seen here contemplating life, and subtly showing his wares....the second one shows us the warm up for a Storm Symphony, led by The Thunder Conductor, whom we see here praying, and summoning her chi......she conducts these symphonies from the highest mountains on earth, and they spread forth and disperse and become all of the storms around the globe!......the last one shows us Goat Man! perhaps my favorite person to have at a party.....seen here with his Water Wand that amplifies any beautiful feelings you feel inside........

 Hello all! These are some outtakes from the Bill's Last Word sessions......the local owls were very helpful and patient, and they posed for us in some very strange and interesting configurations. Happy Friday!

 Here are some more dragons, in honor of The Year of the Dragon.......the rain/snow is elongated here and looks like lettering. The pictures are from somewhere near Zion National Park in Utah.....the last one is my favorite one!....

Around the Bend

Here is a fantastic and far out space rock/hauntology track that takes you a little ways around the bend......with drums, guitar, Rhodes piano, synth, and a small human solving a labyrinth and walking through the woods....the art is from a secret show we played in my imagination last weekend....the space felt really sacred, and the crowd was way into it..... I love you!

Ancient Creative Entities HQ 3

 Here is a random corner of the endless hallways that are easy to get lost in here at ACE HQ...... this picture shows us a few interesting things. The most obvious piece in the center is the opposite of a dreamcatcher, its a Dreamsender, or Dreamreleaser; a handy device that broadcast psychic energy at frequencies that help you to remember and understand your dreams, and even to act in them consciously.........it's pretty sweet and helpful, posted as it is here, right across from the think tank hahaha! Directly above that is a record made by an all sumo wrestlers version of the Fat Boys, called 'Fato Boizu'....the record is mostly shakuhachi flute and taiko drums, with some chanting and howling noises..... below and to the left is the self sustaining fresh flower vase, which as you know is constantly growing and replenishing its supply of fresh flowers........ onward!

 The Inimitable and Illustrious Lady Prism at a few of her many and various Halloween Festival appearances...... I carved the white pumpkin to her left in the last picture. I love the way it came out!
